Apple reveals new emojis coming with iOS 11.1

Apple has announced that it is bringing hundreds of new emojis including more emotive smiley faces, gender-neutral characters, clothing options, food types, animals, mythical creatures and more to iPhone and iPad with the next system update iOS 11.1. 

It also showed off of the new emoji such giraffe, hedgehog, fairy, broccoli, sled, scarf, dinosaur, mermaid, baseball cap, and vampire to name a few.

The update will also bring characters, which were announced on World Emoji Day such as Woman with Headscarf, Bearded Person, Breastfeeding, Zombie, person in Lotus Position and new food items like Sand which and Coconut. 

There's also a Love-You Gesture, designed after the “I love you” hand sign in American Sign Language. You can check out the complete list on Emojipedia here.

Apple says the new emojis are designed to reveal every detail, and are adapted from approved character in Unicode 10, which was release back in June.

The new emoji will debut in next week's developer and public beta previews of iOS 11.1, and will be available in upcoming software updates for iOS, macOS and watchOS
