Intex Aqua Lions X1, Aqua Lions X1+ launched for Rs. 7,499 and Rs. 8,499 respectively


Intex is expanding it Aqua Lions line with the addition of two budget smartphones dubbed Aqua Lions X1 and Aqua Lions X1+. Similar to Intex's previous budget offering, the new phones have dual-SIM slots, support for 4G VoLTE and run Android Nougat out of the box. Both have the same specs sheet, but there are two changes.

The Aqua Lions X1 and Lions X1+ feature 5.2-inch HD display with Shatterproof Glass protection and are powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor backed by Mali T720 MP1 GPU.

The difference between the two phones is in the RAM and storage department. The Aqua Lions X1 comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, and the Aqua Lions X1+ has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The storage can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography, there's 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera, and both have a dedicated flash unit, to capture better images in low-light conditions. The phones feature fingerprint scanner, 2800mAh battery and support WiFi and Bluetooth. Color options are Black, Champagne and Blue.

As for the pricing, the Intex Aqua Lions X1 and X1+ has been priced at Rs. 7,499 and Rs. 8,499 respectively. It also comes bundled with up to 25GB of 4G data for Jio customers, that can be availed with 5 recharges of Rs. 309 or above.
