November update for Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL brings saturated color mode, adds fading navigation buttons and more

Earlier today Google released November update for Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, with the latest security patch and fixes for Wi-Fi related KRACK vulnerability.

Additionally the update also brings some enhancements to the Pixel 2 devices such as addition of a new color mode and  fix for faint clicking noise in the earpiece.

Now the display settings menu of Pixel 2 line, gives users the option to choose from three display modes: boosted, natural, and the newly added 'saturated'.  The new Saturate mode bring in more vibrant color that are already in the enhance mode.

Google has also made some UI changes with the update in order to extend the life of the OLED display. This update has also faded the navigation button on Pixel and Pixel 2 XL, to reduce the screen burn-in issue, as the navigation buttons are virtually always on. In addition, the update also lowers the maximum brightness by 50 nits, and according the Google, the difference is "virtually imperceptible"

The November update will be rolling out to Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL in the coming weeks. Google also said that with the December software update it will bring more enhancements for the Pixel 2 line.
